In Gujarat, there is a scheme called Kunwarbai's Mameru which provides financial assistance for the marriage of girls, especially as part of the welfare of girls belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Kunvarbai Nu Mameru Yojana All Details:-
The state government has started this scheme with the aim of empowering women in society. As you all know, it is not an easy thing for a poor father to marry his daughter in a big-time like marriage, which is very difficult for a poor father to help such poor families. The government has released this Kunwarbai Nu Mameru scheme. Under this scheme, the state government will provide financial assistance for the marriage of Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes girls. Which will help a poor family to get their daughter married?
Kuvarbainu Mameru Yojana Income Limit
The Social Justice and Empowerment Department has set an annual income limit of 1,20,000/- in rural areas and 1,50,000/- in urban areas under Kunwarbai Yojana.
What is Kunvarbai's plan?
Kunvarbai's Mameru Yojana is a scheme run under the Social Welfare Branch of the Government of Gujarat which benefits Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe girls. After those girls get married they can avail this scheme. This scheme is also known as Mangalsutra scheme.
In Mangalsutra Yojana financial assistance is provided by the government to the applicant. Which was earlier Rs.10,000, now it has been increased to Rs.12,000.
Eligibility Criteria:-
Annual Income Limit for Rural Areas Rs. 1,20,000/-
Annual Income Limit for Urban Areas Rs. 1,50,000/-
Only one girl from a Family can get this benefit.
Assistance Criteria:-
Financial Assistance of Rs. 10,000/- for Mamoru, which is given by cheque, in the name of a girl only.
Eligible families of girls can apply for this scheme through offline mode by filling a simple application form. The application form of this scheme will be available in the Office of Women and Child Development, you can collect the application form from there and fill it and in addition, you can download the online application form from the link of the application form given by us.

- The list of documents that will be required while applying in this scheme is as follows.
- Identity proof - Aadhar card, voter ID card.
- Residence proof - Residence, electricity bill, water bill, telephone bill.
- caste certificate.
- Birth certificate.
- income certificate.
- Passport size photograph.
- Copy of the first page of the bank passbook.

- Go to esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in site
- Fill the form
- After filling the form, a copy of the form and verification of evidence should be done by the Mamlatdar office / Taluka Development Officer's office / District Social Welfare Officer's office (where you have been given authority in your taluka/district).
