The Damini Lightning App : Damini: The lightning Alert app is monitoring all lightning activity that is happening specifically for all of India. and alert you if lightning is happening near you by GPS notification. under 20KM and 40KM.Details description of instruction and precautions is provided in apps while in a lightning-prone area. Does and Don't for in specific situation is strictly followed when lightning happens near you for your safety purpose
Precautions to be taken during lightning strikes
There is a 30-30 rule of thumb for electrical safety. Start counting 30 after seeing electricity, if you hear thunder before reaching 30, keep going inside the house. Suspend activities for at least 30 minutes after the last lock of the roar, always keep earthing in working condition to avoid damage to electric appliances, and unused plugs should be covered with plastic cover.
Keep moving to a safe house when there is a terrible lightning strike. Do not stand under a tree in case of terrible lightning. Unplug all electrical appliances. Do not hold fishing rods or umbrellas. Do not touch electric poles/telephone poles.
Keep electrical appliances away from water lines and moisture. Protecting the house from lightning with electric conductors.
